Welcome! I’m Sean McGrath, a Minneapolis-based design creative with more than two decades of experience in UX/UI design, web and graphic design, and creative leadership. I currently work as a UX/UI Designer at Versant, where I’m passionate about pushing boundaries and crafting user experiences that are both thoughtful and intuitive.

My career journey has taken me through both agency and in-house environments, and I’ve worked solo as well as part of incredible design teams. I’ve had the opportunity to create a wide range of projects—websites, digital assets, brand identity systems, logos, books, catalogs, packaging, environmental graphics, and diverse marketing collateral that tells a story and makes an impact.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do. I thrive when working directly with clients and connecting with top-tier creatives across industries. Over the years, I’ve partnered with corporations, cultural institutions, non-profits, professional sports teams, and educational organizations to bring their visions to life through strategic design, art direction, and consultation.
